Trump offers Putin to bolster trade
U.S. President Donald Trump called Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday to offer U.S. help fighting Siberian wildfires and discuss trade, the White House spokesman Hogan Gidley said.
The spokesman said Trump talked to Putin "and expressed concern over the vast wildfires afflicting Siberia."
"The leaders also discussed trade between the two countries,” Reuters cited him as saying.
Putin said that Trump’s call was a signal that "in the future, it will be possible to restore full-format relations between the two countries," the Kremlin said in a statement.
