Turkey eliminates 673 terrorists in northern Syria
A total of 673 People's Protection Units (YPG) terrorists have been neutralized since Turkey launched Operation Peace Spring in northern Syria, the Turkish Defense Ministry said.
The ministry updated on Twitter the figure of the terrorists neutralized as part of Operation Peace Spring.
On October 9, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the launch of Operation Peace Spring in northern Syria, which began with airstrikes on Kurdish positions. The operation’s goal is to create a buffer zone along the Turkish border, where, according to Ankara, Syrian refugees residing in Turkey could return.
