Turkey to assess situation in the country after coup attempt
A meeting on security issues is held in Ankara under the chairmanship of Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim.
The meeting will assess situation in the country after a failed coup attempt as well as operations carried out against the Fethullah Gulen movement.
It is also planned to discuss security measures at democracy rally, which will be held in Istanbul on Sunday, August 7, Trend writes citing Haber 7 newspaper.
As it was previously reported, the rally will be attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, head of the Republican People's Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu, leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Devlet Bahceli.
