Turkey to take census of Syrian refugees
Turkey will take a census of Syrian refugees, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said.
The minister said that the presence of Syrian refugees in Turkey is a very complex issue and should be thoroughly examined, Turkish media reported.
Soylu also noted that 285,000 Syrian refugees returned to Syria after the Olive Branch and Euphrates Shield operations were conducted.
According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Turkey (AFAD), there are 3 million Syrian refugees in Turkey.
