Usupashvili meets PACE President
The chairman of the Georgian parliament, David Usupashvili, met with the head of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Anne Brasseur, in New York.
They discussed "the current processes in Georgia and aspects of regional security," the press service of the Georgian parliament said, adding that they also discussed "the issue of Georgia's integration into Euro-Atlantic structures."
Usupashvili visited the US to participate in the 4th World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments. He also met with the president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Ilkka Kanerva, and the administrator of the UN Development Programme, Helen Clark, Sputnik Georgia reports.
