Vladimir Putin thanks world leaders for sympathy

Today Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to those world leaders who "expressed their deep condolences, 'for their solidarity' over the tragedy with the Russian people who died in the crash of a passenger airliner over the Sinai Peninsula," a press service of the Kremlin reads.

Recall that letters of condolences to President Vladimir Putin were sent by President Ilham Aliyev, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Syrian President Bashar Assad. The prime ministers of Great Britain, Greece and Iraq called the Russian leader in connection with this tragedy.
