We will leave Syria when Syrians ask us, Erdogan says
As Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said today, the Turkish army will leave Syria no sooner than the Syrian people ask about it. He did not provide any further details.
“We will not leave Syria until the Syrian people say: Thank you, now you can leave,” he explained.
The president also added that Turkey will “fully use its powers in the framework of the international law” with regard to the presence of the Turkish army in Syria, RIA Novosti reports.
