Yildirim meets with opposition leaders
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım visited the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu at the party headquarters in Ankara.
Following the meeting, Kılıçdaroğlu said that the CHP conveyed its concerns regarding the state of emergency implemented following the coup attempt, while PM Yıldırım noted that the government will take the opposition's concerns into consideration.
The two leaders also talked about constitutional reforms and the AK Party, CHP and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) will assign a member to report to the chairmen of the party regarding constitutional amendments.
Later on in the day, Yıldırım also visited the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) chairman Devlet Bahçeli at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in Ankara, the Daily Sabah reports.
