Yildirim to mull military operation in Syria with heads of general staff and intelligence
Turkey's Prime Minister Binali Yildirim will discuss military operations in the Syrian city of Afrin today with the chief of General Staff Hulusi Akar and the head of National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan, the Turkish media reported.
Reportedly, Turkey is moving additional military equipment to the border with Syria.
Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that the country doesn’t rule out a new military operation against YPG and PYD in the Syrian city of Afrin. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan earlier said that a new military operation may be held in Afrin.
