Youth forum of BRICS and the SCO starts in Ufa
Today the first youth forum of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) opened in Ufa, at which the results of the recent summits of the SCO and BRICS will be discussed and a 'roadmap' for joint projects will be developed.
The event brings together youth leaders aged from 20 to 35 years from Russia, Brazil, India, China, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as guests from South Korea. "The plenary session of the forum will be opened in the Ufa Congress Hall, where on July 8-10 the summits of the leaders of BRICS and the SCO were held. The participants will discuss the prospects and opportunities for youth cooperation in these countries. At the same time, a press center for journalists covering this forum will open," the press secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Bashkortostan Leah Gubaidulina said.
The organizers of the forum are the Russian Union of Youth, the government of Bashkortostan, Rossotrudnichestvo and the Public Chamber of Russia.
