Zelensky urges to change Minsk Agreements
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said he thinks it is necessary to change the Minsk Agreements.
"Since the time of Minsk, four years have passed, everything is changing in our life. And we understand that it’s not us, as a team, who signed 'Minsk', but we, as a government, must fulfil the conditions that the government agreed in those days," he told "1+1" TV channel when asked about whether the Minsk Agreements should be amended.
"But I am sure that we can change some things and will change, because transfer of the Ukrainian state border under our control [only] after the election is definitely not our position," Zelensky concluded.
Earlier, Ukraine's envoy to the Contact Group's political subgroup Alexey Reznikov said that Kiev will prepare proposals on amending the Minsk Agreements by the next Normandy Four summit.
