Iran to use nuclear technologies in agriculture
Ali Akbar Salehi, vice president of the Islamic Republic and the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said that nuclear technologies will be used to purify seawater for dry areas and to produce electricity, TASS reports.
The machinery needed for the purpose will be built along the coasts of the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
Furthermore, Iran signed a deal with Russia to build eight more nuclear power plants in Iran. Four energy blocks will be built at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
