Deputy head of plenipotentiary presidential envoy to NCFD gives details on helicopter crash in Karachay-Cherkessia

Maksim Bystrov, deputy plenipotentiary presidential envoy to the North
Caucasian Federal District, and Ahmed Bilalov, CEO of Resorts of the
North Caucasus, were in the helicopter crash that took place in
Karachay-Cherkessia.


The officials were to hold a session for development of infrastructure
of the Arkhyz complex and start of the cable way construction.


Maksim Bystrov gave an interview. He said that he is undergoing
treatment at Kavkazskiye Mineralniye Vody. Bystrov noted that there
was no wind to cause the accident. In a conversation with Alexander
Neradko, head of the Russian Federal Aviation Agency, who had said
that the crash was caused by the crew, the official denied the
presence of unauthorized people in the cockpit.


Ahmed Bilalov and the security had been the first to get out of the
helicopter and help others, Bystrov said.
