Turkey starts military operations against KPP forces in Iraq
Turkish forces have started a high-scaled ground and air operation in northern Iraq as revenge for the attack of Kurdistan Workers’ Party against the Turkish (PKK) military this morning, Trend reports.
Kurdish militants are hiding on the Iraqi territory. They killed 24 and injured 18 Turkish servicemen at the Hakkari Province.
Turkey has recently activated efforts to fight the terrorist. Turkish air forces are raiding Kurdish separatists in northern Iraq. They started on August 17, after a murder of 9 Turkish servicemen. They were the first airstrikes in northern Iraq in over a year.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan cancelled his visit to Kazakhstan over the terrorist attacks.
