Georgian-Ossetian talks on prevention of incidents postponed
Another round of talks of Georgian and Ossetian officials within the framework of mechanisms for prevention of incidents and reaction was to be held at the Dvani Village today but had been postponed for tomorrow. The meeting was to stress on transferred and released prisoners, 2 citizens of the Odzisi Village of the Dushetsky District, Georgy Gurgenishvili and Paaty Paata Javakhishvili, kidnapped on October 11.
Shota Utishvili, head of the Department for Information and Analytics of the Interior Ministry, reminded negotiations of release of the two citizens are being carried out. The villagers reportedly went for wood. They were accused of illegal border crossing and were detained at Tskhinvali.
