Turkish Foreign Minister will meet with the locum tenens of the Armenian Church in Istanbul

As part of providing "a peaceful religious atmosphere" in the Middle East, the Balkans and other regions, as well as the continuation of "courtesy visits," Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will meet in Istanbul with religious leaders, including a representative of the Constantinople (Istanbul) patriarchy of the Armenian Apostolic Church, locum tenens Aram Ateshyan.

As "Armenpress" reports, referring to the Turkish TV channel TRT, in Istanbul Davutoglu will meet with the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople His Grace Bartholomew I, the Patriarch of the Ancient Assyrian Church Yusuf Chetimi, and the Deputy Patriarch of of the Assyrian Catholic Church Yusuf Sagi.
