Turkey does not know how many Kurdish rebels have left the country

According to the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey, Bekir Bozdag, militants from the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party continue to leave the country.

The Deputy Prime Minister is reported by "Anadolu" as denying media reports that claim that members of the PKK have almost completely left the territory of Turkey. "At the moment, members of the PKK are in the process of leaving Turkey. It is impossible to say what percentage has already left," Bozdag said.

PKK militants have been leaving Turkey since 8 May. The imprisoned PKK leader, Abdullah Ocalan, has called on the members of his organization to lay down arms and leave the country. The Turkish authorities, in turn, promised to create  a safety corridor for them to leave the country.
