Pyatigorsk to host youth forum ‘Mashuk-2010’
The first pan-Caucasus youth forum, ‘Mashuk-2010’, which will become the ‘younger brother’ of ‘Seliger-2010’, will open on August 9th in Pyatigorsk, Yuga.ru reports, citing the head of the federal agency for youth affairs of Rusia, Vasiliy Yakemenko.
The authorized presidential envoy to the North Caucasian Federal District, Alexander Khloponin, governor of Stavropol Territory Valeriy Gayevskiy, President of Karachay-Cherkessia Boris Ebzeyev, President of North Ossetia Taymuraz Mamsurov, Ingush President Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov, Dagestani President Magomedsalam Magomedov and President of Kabardino-Balkaria Arsen Kanokov will be special guests at the forum, ITAR-TASS reports.
Participants in the forum are young leaders of social opinion, young businessmen, social leaders, activists and volunteers, representatives of culture and art, journalists and bloggers, sportsmen, teams of technical art, young teachers and ethnographers.
Young people will attend dozens of unique educational programs, prepared by the best teachers of the country, they will have an opportunity to present their projects to leading specialists in various spheres and meet deputies of the State Duma, social activists and businessmen.
The forum will be in two stages. The first will last from 9th to 17th August and the second from 18th to 27th August. The forum will be attended byaround two thousand 18 to 30 year-olds from Stavropol Territory, the Caucasian republics of Russia and South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
