Georgia and Norway agree to continue military cooperation
Issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting between the head of the Department of International Relations and Euro-Atlantic integration of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia, David Nardaya and the military attache of Norway, Colonel Roy Grotheim.
At the end of the meeting the parties signed a plan of bilateral cooperation between the Ministries of Defence of Georgia and Norway for 2014.
The military attache of Norway was also received by the head of the Armed Forces General Staff, Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in 2013 and agreed on plans for the next year in the military sphere. The development of reserve and mobilization system was one of the topics of discussion, Trend reports.
Since 2010 Norway and Georgia have been actively developing bilateral military cooperation.
