Iran to open first enriched uranium-free nuclear power plant in AprilThe head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi stated that the first nuclear power plant functioning without the use of enriched uranium will be launched on April 9. The fuel produced by the plant will be similar to that used at the Bushehr nuclear power plant. Salehi also stated that within the framework of the November P5+1 negotiations concerning the Iranian nuclear program, "the two sides have roughly reached a full agreement and agreed on general principles."
