Putin and Merkel to discuss Ukraine
Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that a Ukrainian settlement and recovery of cooperation between Russia and Germany will be the main topics of the talks on Sunday to be held in the Kremlin between Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The German Chancellor is arriving in Moscow to attend celebrations in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Victory. Before the talks the two leaders will lay wreaths together at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier."At the center of the agenda are Ukrainian domestic conflict settlement issues," TASS quotes Ushakov. "Russia and Germany are in favor of strict observance of the Minsk Agreements by Kiev and the south-eastern regions of Ukraine," he said.
