Kadyrov blames militants for Turkey murders
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has said he believes gunmen aligned with militant leader Doku Umarov and separatist envoy Akhmed Zakaev were responsible for the recent murders of three Chechen in Turkey, RIA Novosti reports.
The three Chechens were killed in Istanbul on September 16. Kadyrov said the motivation for the killings may have been a money dispute. He also said Chechnya would work with the Turkish authorities to hunt down the killers.
