Germany to give Georgia grant for refugee housing
Germany will provide Georgia with a grant of 4 million euros for construction of housing for forced migrants in Western Georgia, News Georgia reports.
A deal was signed by the head of the Georgian financial structure, Dmitry Gvindadze, and Arne Goss, head of the group for protection of the environment and infrastructure of the Bank for Crediting and Development of Germany (KfW).
Germany provided 6 million euros for refugee housing in Tskaltubo, Poti and Kutaisi.
An agreement on additional financing of cooperation was signed between Azerbaijan and Germany in Tbilisi on October 25, 2011. The sides agreed on cooperation in economic development, energy, ecology, agriculture and technical cooperation, regional and urban development. Germany will provide up to 75 million euros.
