Syrian refugees fight with local population in Turkey

A mass brawl took place in Turkey’s province of Sanliurfa between members of the local population and Syrian refugees.


12 people were injured in the incident. The brawl involved up to 200 people, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish newspaper Milliyet.

 

 

Earlier, there was an incident in the Turkish province of Mardin between Syrian refugees and the military, resulting in 4 injured soldiers.The incident occurred after 66 people were poisoned in a refugee camp in Mardin. Following that, unrest broke out in the camp and the Turkish military had to intervene. 17 Syrians were detained after the incident.
