Donetsk wants Abkhazia and Transnistria to recognize its sovereignty

 

Prime Minister of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” Alexander Borodayev, Vice Prime Minister Andrey Purgin and Head of the Supreme Council Denis Pushilin have requested Transnistria and Abkhazia to recognize it as sovereign state, Interfax reports.The “republic” calls the switch of power in Ukraine in February 2014 a coup “inspired by foreign intelligence.” The officials claim that there was genocide in Odessa, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Krasny Liman, Luhansk, Schastye and Metallist.South Ossetia has already recognized the “Donetsk People’s Republic” as an independent state.
