British prime minister opens oil and gas factory in Kazakhstan
British Prime Minister David Cameron opened the Bolashak oil and gas factory together with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the Atyrau Region of Kazakhstan yesterday, Interfax reports.
Nazarbayev reminded that he had taken part in founding the facility 8 years ago. The factory will produce 450,000 barrels of oil daily and process 8.8 million cubic meters of gas daily. 2,500 people will work at the facility.
The British PM and the Kazakh leader met businessmen and discussed economic cooperation between the two states.
