Russian and Ukrainian presidents meet in Sochi
Amid the political crisis unfolding in Ukraine the country's President Viktor Yanukovych traveled to the Russian city of Sochi to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
During their meeting today the two presidents discussed bilateral cooperation in the spheres of trade and the economy.
President Yanukovych has previously accused Moscow of putting pressure on him in order to prevent the signing of the associate membership agreement with the EU. The Russian authorities have threatened to ban all Ukrainian imports if the country establishes a free trade zone with the European Union.
