Russian weather forecasters guarantee snow for Sochi Olympic Games
Roman Wilfand, head of the Russian Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Agency, said that the Olympic Games in Sochi will have all the snow they need, ITAR-TASS reports.
The specialist noted that the weather was unusual in Sochi this year, but that does not mean it would be the same the next year. He reminded that artificial snow was made for the Winter Olympic Games of Vancouver in 2010.
Wilfand added that snow will be prepared beforehand, in case the same situation as the weather in Vancouver happens.
