Sevastopol to form Tennis Federation

President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishchev said that Sevastopol had formed its own Tennis Federation. Nikolai Bagrov, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Crimean SSR in 1991-1994, is heading the Tennis Federation of Crimea, reports.

Tarpishchev noted that a center with 8-10 tennis courts was needed. He added that he had failed to find a proper territory for their construction in two days of studying the area.

Yakov Shatkhin, the secretary general and vice president of the Russian Tennis Federation, said in early April that the program for development of tennis in the Crimean Federal District was included in the Russian tennis development program of 2014-2020.
